I wrote Blues as part of a time period project in UAL. It's a script loosely inspired by The Catcher In The Rye's Holden Caulfield (He is alluded to in the character of American Boy) Clarence is a direct reference to Clarence of Frank Capras 'It's A Wonderful Life'.'

The screenplay aims to explore the intricacies of the class system in the 1950s, as well as the fragility of life which i think extends to the modern generation.
